Introducing EBB Lifeline program that is operated b the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) that provides discounts on monthl broadband Internet access service and certain connected devices. EBB services and devices are subject to consumer eligibilit, provider participation, product availabilit, and FCC/Universal Service Administrative Compan (USAC) approval. LifeLine is the FCCs permanent program to support affordable access to essential communications services such as broadband internet access.
The Qualifiers are Low income individuals receiving government assistance that are currentl active, below are the different benefit programs that qualif for these services:
- Federal Public Housing Assistance/ Section 8 - Medicaid
- Snap/FoodStamps/FoodAssistance - Supplemental Securit Income (SSI) - Veterans or Survivors Pension
- 135% of Federal Povert Guidelines
Those who qualif will receive an 8 Tablet with an activated sim card that will carr 1000 minutes of talk, text, 10 GB of Cellular internet to use anwhere in the countr when outside of wifi connection for Free. When the Qualif there will be a ONE Time pament needed of $10.01. After the one ear is due, if the qualif again with one of the Government assistance programs listed above,The can call 611 and get their talk,text, and internet on the tablet activated again for another ear. If the DO NOT qualif for the Assistance program the following ear then the can keep the tablet and use it through wifi, es the tablet is theirs to keep and never have to be returned. It is one tablet per household, unless the parents don't share income and the each get Government assistance benefits, then the can each qualif for these services.
Due to Covid 19 our Government is finding was to help all communities as much as possible, this program has helped man parents and students who can't afford to get these gadgets to keep up with their school work and parents with their da to da work from home and currentl finding more was where it can potential help our low income Americans.
